Goggle adsEdit

Do we have to have ads by Google. It's not helping. If medications can cure just like that then I wouldn't edit this page.

Unfortunately we do, they are the reason that the hosting is free. Maybe if we can build the content to be more balanced and realistic then the ads will fade into insignificance? At least they are discrete and clearly ads - no big banners here thank goodness. If there are any particularly bad ads, then we can possibly get them blocked, but that's limited to a few. Mostly I've seen ones that are rather over-optimistic, but nothing that's really offensive. Come to think of it, I haven't seen any for meds - I thought that Google didn't do medication ads. What ones are you seeing? -- sannse (talk) 08:17, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
What bothers me is that the pharma industry is so much more visible than the personal stories of people hurt by medications, so most would assume that meds are harmless or the only other options, otherwise you're CrAzY for not believing the popular media and culture...

Wikis Addicting?Edit

Wiki life can be addicting! ;-) It seems like just a few hours ago I was supposed to be doing something else...

Just you wait ;) I started on wikis in 2002 and haven't looked up yet! -- sannse (talk) 13:00, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

But you get paid (somehow?) doing it!!! ;-)

Got juice?Edit

Most coffee places like Starbucks in the USA are popular with the coffee drinking crowd, but can lack services for the more health conscious.

"Juice bars" contain other options for health and recovery.

I find some of the environment helpful in coffee houses. There is a community, some activity like musical performers, getting outside of the house and you can sometimes be left alone as well (as in "Just Give Me My Double Mocha Expresso, PLEASE!" tm ;-) ). There can also be internet connectivity and carbonware social opportunities...
